Welcome

On April 8, 2019, I got hit with the news – Mantel Cell Lymphoma, or simply put, Cancer! Today, I’m thrilled to share that I’m in remission after diving into some cutting-edge treatment in 2023.

Here I am out for a run, 2 months after my last treatment.

Welcome to my blog, where I want to have a chat with you about this rollercoaster journey. Why? Because if my experiences can help anyone going through something similar, that would make my day. Quick note, though: I’m not a medical professional, so what you get here are my experiences and perspective which may or may not be what your experience will be like. I’ll be dropping short posts about the ups and downs, both physically and mentally, along my journey.

Cancer is a unique beast for everyone, and when I was digging for info during my own battle, detailed perspectives from other MCL patients were hard to come by. So, here’s my attempt at filling that gap. Hope you find it helpful! 😊

This site should be a breeze to navigate. My Mantel Cell blog posts link is in the top right menu, the most recent post links hang out on the right side, here is a quick link to Chapter 1, and there’s a search box if you’re hunting for something specific.

Have questions about my journey with MCL? Shoot them my way! Keep in mind, I’m moderating the questions, so there might be a slight delay before you see your question up and my response. In today’s digital wild west, a little caution goes a long way.
